Ohio Family Rights a Scam?

Many readers are probably not aware that Ohio Family Rights is not a business.

Ray Lautenschlager and Roz McAllister, present it as a business when they appear before legislatures, in public, and on their website. They use this false appearance to solicit donations on their web site and on GoFundMe.

But Mr. Lautenschlager has admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio that Ohio Family Rights is NOT a business, but an alter-ego for Ray Lautenschlager.

This shocking disclosure could cause concern for anyone who donates to Ohio Family Rights (OFR), as well as those who rely on him for their domestic relations custody issues.

Mr. Lautenschlager made this argument in order to have OFR defendants dismissed from this copyright infringement lawsuit, so he wouldn't have to hire a lawyer to represent it. However, having made this admission in court, he is stuck with it. He's not running a business, yet he's making OFR appear like a business in order to obtain donations and credibility. Which begs the question. . . what is he using this money for? Is there any accounting? Not likely.

Mr. Lautenschlager claims everyone knows OFR is not a business. We doubt that. We think you need to know. . so here it is in his own words. For whatever it's worth.

It looks like a huge scam, it sounds like a huge scam. Mr. Lautenschlager evidently says what he thinks need to be said to accomplish his agenda, regardless of the truth. And if you piss him off. . .watch out, he's vicious.

For the record, in addition to summary judgment entering against him for liable for willful copyright infringement, Lautenschlager is using the name Ohio Family Rights illegally. That trade name is owned and registered by someone else who has told him to stop using it. He refuses. Is it any surprise that a man who steals someone else's work and infringes their copyrights, and who lies about OFR being a business--in public or in court--would steal someone else's trade name and use it for his own benefit? Especially once he's admitted OFR is not a business and, therefore, he has no legal right to claim or use the trade name in Ohio. He's a thief, and a liar, and completely unethical. And he's worse. . . he's demonstrated himself to be nothing more than an abusive wannabe without substance. We suggest anyone trust him at their own risk.
